3. Eligible RewardCash Time Deposit Transaction Amount will be accumulated by tenor (i.e. 3-month and 6-month RewardCash Time Deposit are calculated separately). Amounts placed in HKD and/or USD under the same tenor are combined for calculation purpose. Any USD RewardCash Time Deposit Transaction Amount will be converted into HKD equivalent (“HKD Equivalent Amount”). RewardCash will be awarded for every accumulated HKD100,000 (or its HKD Equivalent Amount) placed into the relevant 3-month or 6-month RewardCash Time Deposit as applicable. The accumulated amount will be rounded down to the nearest multiple of HKD100,000 for RewardCash calculation. All Eligible Time Deposit Transaction, calculations and RewardCash entitlement will be determined according to the Bank’s records. The Bank’s record is final.
4. "Eligible New Fund Amount" is the net increase in your latest total balance (across all your deposit accounts) compared to the balance as at 7 calendar days ago. This amount is calculated in HKD. If you have placed time deposit(s) with new funds in the past 7 calendar days, that time deposit amount will not be included as part of your latest total balance for calculating the Eligible New Fund Amount. In case of disputes, we have the sole discretion to determine the definition of new funds.
5. Eligible Customer must log into the HSBC HK Mobile Banking app and select “Place time deposit”, and use Eligible New Fund Amount of HKD10,000 / USD2,000 or above to show offers and choose “RewardCash” option to place the Eligible RewardCash Time Deposit Transaction. The Offer is not applicable to any 3-month / 6-month time deposits that are not placed in accordance with the stated steps and requirements.
6. You must meet the Eligible Payroll Record requirements during the designated payroll period to receive the rewards. Designated Requirements for Eligible Payroll Record:
   1. The payroll is deposited through Eligible Customer’s employer(s) into Eligible Customer’s self-name HKD savings or current account with the Bank via autopay (“Auto-Payroll”) and the total payroll amount in that single Payroll Month reaches HKD10,000 or above; AND
   2. The Total Deposit Balance on the last calendar day of each of the relevant Payroll Month shows a net increase compared to the Total Deposit Balance on 30 June 2026. 'Total Deposit Balance' refers to the combined balance across all HKD, Renminbi (RMB), and foreign currency (FCY) deposits held in selected current, savings and/or time deposit accounts (collectively called 'In-scope accounts'). We calculate the Total Deposit Balance for an Eligible Customer by including balances from all personal sole and joint accounts (where the Eligible Customer is the principal accountholder), provided they're held under the same name and identity document number. For any non-HKD deposits, the deposit balance would be converted into HKD based on the relevant prevailing foreign exchange rate determined by the Bank for the calculation of the Offer entitlement. All related deposit balances will be based on our record.
7. The 'Round-the-World Trip' Lucky Draw Prize will be awarded in the form of $80,000 RewardCash to the relevant eligible customer who may choose to convert such RewardCash into 800,000 miles via the Reward+ App, which should be sufficient to redeem one set of round-trip, non-stop Business Class flight tickets for one passenger from Hong Kong to each of the five continents (Asia, Europe, Africa, the Americas, and Oceania). Reference cities include Tokyo, London, Johannesburg, New York, and Sydney. All passengers are required to pay the applicable taxes and surcharges related to their journeys. Ticket redemption is subject to airline seat availability and the actual mileage required at the time of redemption.

10.
